Pupil Leadership

At Wadhurst Primary School we encourage pupils to play an active and positive role in all aspects of school life.  We believe that all children should be given the opportunity to hold a position of responsibility that impacts the school as a whole and have therefore developed a range of leadership roles available to the children.

Please see below more information about our pupil leadership roles.

The School Council From Year 2 onwards children are able to stand for and be elected onto the School Council. This ensures that all pupils are involved in the school’s drive to improve and achieve its vision.

Providing children with leadership responsibilities gives them the opportunity to face challenges, solve problems and work collaboratively towards a common goal. These are essential life skills. Our Year 6 children have applied for important leadership positions and have received their ‘job offers’. We have high expectations for how these roles will be carried out and the impact that they will have both in developing children’s leadership skills and on the wider impact to the school. More information on this will follow shortly.......

Arena pursuits
